We had severe woodpecker damage in front of our house after a month long vacation away from home. I tried to contact various services providers to have the repair done, most of them were either busy or stop working outside. I found Doug on Nextdoor and left him a voice message, he called me back the following day. Doug was able to accommodate my situation and came earlier than originally planned, he and his son were very nice, courteous, did a great job! It was a big relief to see the house being taken care before winter comes.
I will ask Doug for any future handyman work and also highly recommend to anyone who is looking for house maintenance help with quality and peace of mind.

Doug helped replace a broken window in a basement window well with plexiglass that had to be cut to fit. I was having trouble finding someone to assist, but he was willing to take the job on, came on time, and did the job with quality at a reasonable price.

Doug is a total pro and was a joy to deal with. He replaced my garbage disposal and fixed a light that was not working properly and the cost was very reasonable even though I am on a tight budget. He is the only handyman I will use in the future - totally trustworthy and I highly recommend him.

Found Doug via Palatine Facebook group via a reference from someone in the group. I needed to get some cabinets trimmed up to be able to fit my new fridge into it's spot.

Doug was quick to respond and helped me out on short notice. The cabinets got trimmed up perfectly and he helped me run a water line from the sink through the floor and in the basement back up to the back side of the fridge.

I definitely wouldn't have been able to do this myself (didn't have the tools and just moved into the house) and would HIGHLY recommend Doug for any handyman related work in the area!
